Not bad.  I don't think any of us were expecting any A listers but this will work, although I could've done without reality show people from shows like the Apprentice and Dancing with the Stars:

Omarosa Manigault
The two-time Apprentice contestant and Trump campaigner departed the White House for the Big Brother house. No word on if that is trading up or trading down.

Mark McGrath
The Sugar Ray singer also did a stint on Celebrity Apprentice. He’s actually been on many a reality television program, including Celebrity Wife Swap, a guest judge on American Idol, and host of not one but TWO Pussycat Dolls shows.

Shannon Elizabeth
The American Pie star may not like living on slop if she becomes a “Have Not.” She also appeared on Dancing with the Stars, because of course she did.

Metta World Peace
The former Ron Artest won NBA Defensive Player of the Year honors as well as an NBA title. He’s also best known for the “Malice at the Palace” brawl between fans and players in Detroit while a member of the Indiana Pacers. Not that there’s ever any fighting on Big Brother.

Brandi Glanville
It wouldn’t be a celebrity reality show without a Real Housewife. This time, it’s Brandi from Beverly Hills, who also paid her dues on Celebrity Apprentice. (Who didn’t?)

James Maslow
The Big Time Rush star also got fourth place on season 18 of Dancing with the Stars.

Keshia Knight Pulliam
Rudy Huxtable is in the house! The Big Brother house, to be exact. She also appeared on, yes, Celebrity Apprentice.

Marissa Janet Winokur
The Hairspray Broadway star was on the same season of Dancing with the Stars as her new housemate Shannon Elizabeth. Instant alliance?

Ariadna Gutierrez
She was Miss Universe in 2015… for about two minutes. Then it was revealed that host Steve Harvey had read the wrong name. Whoops!

Chuck Liddell
The former mixed martial artist will have to use his smarts and social skills, not his fists to win this competition.

Ross Matthews
The former Tonight Show intern is a judge on RuPaul’s Drag Race. But now he will be judged by his fellow housemates… and America.

Now my thoughts on each of them

She can definitely bring some drama into the house, but if it gets political it won't be worth watching

Honestly have no idea who he is

Love Shannon, shes has been a guest on Dick at Nite several times so I know she knows the game, now it will be interesting to see how well she can play it

I just knew we'd get an athlete in the mix.  Not much of an NBA fan (unless its the Cavs) so jury still out on him

Another I have no idea who it is.  Obviously someone from Real Housewifes, which I have not even seen a minute of.

Another no clue who he is

How can you not like Rudy Huxtable all grown up.  Should be interesting

No idea again but it is interesting that they decided to cast her with someone she has a previous relationship with.  I guess we know the production favorites

Ariadna Gutierrez

How long will it take for the  first asshat on social media to make the joke that Julie will read her name by mistake?  Well that didn't take long

Another athlete, will be fun to watch some of the more physical comps with him and Metta and how well they do.  Athletes have been on Survivor before and were erratic in physical comps

Another no idea who he is, haven't watched the Tonight Show since Leno took over for Johnny Carson

I know very little about most of these people, but that doesn't really mean anything. However, the news that Omarosa is going into the house made my stomach turn. I don't like this woman in any way, shape or form. I am sure she didn't get releases from ANYONE in the white house or the Trump family for sure, so every time it turns political (and we all know it will) and she starts spouting off the feeds will be cut because what she says can't be aired. I only hope that she is evicted in the first week, but I have a feeling that production will want to keep her around so she will more than likely either be the first HOH or she will "win" some sort of immunity or safety kind of like Paul did last year.

I was really looking forward to this, but now I have reservations. Of course, like all seasons, I will still watch, but this is supposed to be a release and the last thing I want to watch is more politics on a show that is supposed to entertain me. I get enough of our sick political system watching the news on a daily basis.

That being said, I am very much looking forward to talking to all my friends on this board for a couple of months! cheers1

I'm not so sure she will be a production favorite. I also don't know if she would need a release for the people in the white house since they are elected officials. Think about it, does CBS News get a release from the White House officials to give commentary on them.

I have high hopes for this very short season. There's really not enough time for production to get in peoples ears about things.

Haven't decided if I'm gonna get the feeds or not but most likely will when it comes down to it.
