It appears the veto comp is underway. Feeds just went to Jeff interviews. Normally they don't play veto until Sat. Normally it's noms Friday, veto comp Sat, veto ceremony Monday. Must be because it's the first week.

Paul has won the veto. Since it was the RoadKill winner (Frank) who put him up, it appears he gets to name the replacement and he is talking about putting Bridgette up as the replacement

The target is apparently Jozea (big surprise), but if they were smart, the newbies would band together and figure out that Paulie is with the vets. He already told them he is Cody's brother so that should be a red flag right there.

The fatal mistake would be thinking "We still got the numbers". This is how the votes SHOULD go, not necessarily the way they will.

Frank - Jozea
Paulie- nommed, no vote
Bridgette - likely replacement, no vote.
Michelle - Paulie
James - Jozea
Victor - Paulie
Bronte - Paulie
Natalie - Paulie
Dayvonne - Jozea
Zakiyah - Paulie
Paul - Paulie
Jozea- nommed - no vote
Nicole - Hoh, no vote
Tiffany - Jozea
Corey - Paulie

I was just looking at the teams, WTF is the matter with Frank wanting t oput Bridgette up as a replacement? She is on his team. Yes I know it's a secret as to who puts the person up, but that's besides the point. Paulie is also on his team and is nommed and there is still a chance he can go home. If he were to put Zakiyah up instead he can at least campaign to his team to vote out Jozea for the good of the team and thereby save his alliance member in Paulie.

He did joke around about putting himself up as the replacement to cover the fact he won the roadkill comp. That would be hysterical if he did that and went home

Michelle - Paulie - in 8 pack alliance with Paulie so vote will be HO
James - Jozea
Victor - Paulie
Bronte - Paulie
Natalie - Paulie
Dayvonne - Jozea
Zakiyah - Paulie in 8 pack alliance with Paulie so vote will be HO
Paul - Paulie
Jozea- nommed - no vote
Nicole - Hoh, no vote
Tiffany - Jozea
Corey - Paulie

The core of the 8 pack alliance is 3 femals with 2 boys. So the vote will look different.

It's plenty early in the game to have a solid alliance, especially an 8 person alliance, that could easily be broken up. Jozea and Paul need to campaign hard to each and every newbie to get rid of Paulie. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to realize Paulie is working with the vets. He has never said anything about going after them and did not look the least bit upset when he was nommed.

Too early to call because we all know that it will change 6 or 100 times before the live show.

BTW: Nothing has changed right? Sun, Wed, and Thu for the eviction show right?

Ctown, the things you are saying make perfect sense, but most of these people are complete morons and those who are not morons are too afraid to speak up to Paul, Victor and Jozea. Bronte and Natalie finally had a light bulb moment last night (actually early in the morning) that Paulie is working with the vets because he has not shown any anger about being nominated and such. Then they said that their "newbie alliance" is probably going to fall apart if Paulie is not evicted. Then they said that they are completely expendable to the boys in their group and they know that. Then.................wait for it..................they said we have to stick with them for now and hope things work out okay!

The reason that there were newbies who jumped the fence is because Paul, Victor and Jozea were just running over everyone else, telling them who to talk to, who to hang out with, what to say, and so on. Plus the comments from Jozea about the military really stuck to a few of them. In addition, players like Michelle and Tiffany saw the writing on the wall that those people are complete idiots and didn't want to play with them from the beginning. I mean why would they help those jackasses rid the house of the vets only to make themselves sitting ducks right after?

Like Day said, they got very lucky being put in there with these people. They can't keep their mouth shut. They tell all their plans. The practically announced their target list to everyone, much like we saw Victor with Nicole and Jozea with Day on the episode the other night. Plain and simple they are stupid.

As far as Frank putting up Bridgette who is on his team, I don't see any problem with that. Nobody is really respecting the team concept in any way, shape or form. It is basically there for guidelines for safety and such, but otherwise nobody is looking at it in those terms.

I realize they aren't really playing the team aspect, but you need to look at it from a strategic standpoint on Frank's end. He will now have 2 members of his team on the block. This means a greater chance things go awry and he loses a team member. Now this is the part where he needs to play it to his advantage, if he has every team member left, they all play for HOH next week. If anyone of them wins, the entire team is safe, including himself. Yes, there are horrible parts of the team twist, but this is a pretty big advantage, why risk losing part of that?

I get what you are saying, but his options are limited. He can't really risk putting up anyone from his 8 pack alliance either because Paulie is already on the block and if he puts up one of them (like Tiffany, Zak or Michelle) they lose a vote they control as well as risk alienating one of their group that for now is pretty strong. I think it is the right move to put up Bridgette. If things go awry it would probably be Paulie going home anyway and he is already on the block.
