That was great. I still haven't seen the full episode yet but will watch when I get home. I was able to view the eviction on youtube though before CBS has it removed.

Austin will go down in history as the first houseguest to be evicted barefoot! LMFAO

Think he was just a wee bit bitter?

Best episode of the season clapping The BB gods have finally listened & adios Austin! I admit I take great pleasure in his demise. The look on his & Liz's faces was priceless...he is definitely a bitter bunny & Liz took to her bed! I honestly wasn't sure if Johnny Mac & Vanessa would go thru with it.

Now lets see what Steve is going to do as HOH...another great event tonight! A trifecta would be if Vanessa walks out the door tomorrow night, but I must admit my dislike of her went down just a bit when she evicted Austin.

Boy, I can't wait 'till his pompous ass sees how everyone really feels about him. He thought he would get camera exposure & get back into wrestling & entertainment, ha!

I am surprised he actually had a shirt on but being barefooted was pretty great and yes he was very bitter. I really did enjoy the blindside and am glad to see him out of the house.

However, I do believe there were a couple mistakes made tonight with this move. First of all, I think Vanessa actually should have sent Steve packing. First of all, Steve will never be a bitter jury member whereas I believe Austin (and by extension Liz/Julia) will be. If she had come clean with Austin and told him she was going to send him out, she had a better chance of getting that vote. Also, she would have been a virtual lock for the final 4 veto (if it is what we all expect it to be) but now she has to try to beat Steve which in that type of comp is a tall order to say the least. Jmac might also surprise her a bit, but I still give her the edge over him. Of course she believes that Steve will keep her in the game, but I don't see him doing that.

Secondly, I believe Jmac made a mistake in not sending Steve out of the game as well. I don't see him beating Steve AND Vanessa in that final 4 veto so he is at the mercy of the veto winner at this point. Had he sent Steve out tonight, he would probably be HOH right now (and guaranteed a spot in the final 3) because Austin's memory with this type of comp is usually not very good. Of course, I believe the chances of Steve taking him to the final 2 are pretty good so an argument that way is also another way to look at it. But, the way things have gone and the hold that Vanessa seems to have on the others in the house, I would have wanted to better my chances to win my way to the end rather than count on someone else saving me. One other point is that if Austin and Liz were still in the game and Vanessa did win that final 4 veto, she would more than likely keep Jmac instead of going to the final 3 with the showmance.

Only time will tell I guess.

I did enjoy watching him be blindsided too and I agree with you 100% that it would make for a perfect week if Vanessa is the next one to leave the house. All her waffling and changing her mind and getting in her own way coming back to bite her in the ass would be absolutely priceless.

I disagree, it was 100% the right move to send Austin packing. Why would you keep a showmance that late in the game to begin with? She is going to bank on the fact that after the shock wears off, Austin is a fan of the game and will vote on gameplay, unless of course Liz is in F2 and he would surely vote for her.

As far as why it had to be a blindside? I agree with that as well, what happened the last time he find out she was going to evict him? He had a fit and talked her out of it. Being as impressionable as she is, that would be too much to try and process and go back and forth running scenarios. She ran all her ridiculous scnarios a bunch of times, made a decision and finally stuck with it. Didn't want to have to 2nd guess herself any longer

Normally I would agree with you, but Jmac and Steve are almost like a showmance on their own, so it is 6 of one and half dozen of another in my opinion. I would have wanted to go with the people I would have a better chance at beating in the comps plain and simple.

As far as the blindside, it had nothing to do with wanting to second guess herself or possibly be talked out of it. She wanted Liz to be shook up enough to blow the HOH comp, and maybe that did work in her favor to an extent. But now if she ends up with a choice and takes Liz to the finals, there are 2 guaranteed votes against her from the start. If she sends Liz out, she runs the risk of losing 3 votes in jury because she stood on her integrity and loyalty pedestal for so long that will carry over and I truly believe that Austin, Liz and Julia will be very bitter and see Steve's moves as game moves all along instead of a personal scumbag move that Austin sees right now.

It will be quite poetic though if Steve wins that final 4 veto and sends her packing as it seems his plans were the last time the feeds were on and some of the banter they showed on the episode tonight. Seeing her and Austin both with egg on their face in the jury house when they could have ran through the whole thing if they had stuck to a plan would be pretty entertaining for me.

I just remembered something..................Vanessa won't be losing the Austwins votes in jury regardless of her actions. Why? Because she promised material things to both the twins (Julia's was a car, can't remember what Liz's was) and they are supposed to go on a Vegas trip with her and she is going to show them how to use their prize money (or stipend) to make a bunch of money based on her poker and craps skills that she has been talking about all season. She apparently has a way that she rolls the dice that "maximizes the odds of rolling doubles on a regular basis" and a plan for the others in her group to bet in order to make a ton of money. So, based on that, she will get their votes. Not saying she would not deserve them, because as stated on the other thread, Vanessa deserves to win the game if she gets to the final 2 (at least for now, but Steve might be able to overtake that based on some strategy in the next week), but those votes will be based on something completely different in my opinion.

By the way, the tiebreaker question in the HOH comp was to write the number of seconds in the egg comp from start to finish. The answer was 2825 seconds which would be 47 minutes. I didn't think it lasted even close to that long. Steve's answer was 601 seconds (approximately 10 minutes) which was closer to what I thought it actually was. After the comp, Steve told the other hg's he forgot a 0 in his answer and meant to guess 6000 seconds which would have been more than 1.5 hours. There is no way Steve would be off by that far, so not sure what that crap was about. I just find it interesting that the timing was so far off from what I remembered.

Vanessa is delusional with a way to roll the dice, I know exactly what she is talking about as there are people that try to teach you how to do it, but it's all a bunch of shit. Craps is my favorite game to play, but the thing with craps is you either win big, or lose big. There are all kinds of systems but thrwoing the dice a certain way does not help. If you've ever been to a crap table, you would know the bumpers have rubber "triangles" on them, this is there to negate any type of manipulate you try to use when you throw the dice with spin and such. It's easier to count cards playing blackjack than to put spin on the dice.

Now that being said, usually when you play craps, if you throw the dice and they don't hit the back bumper, the throw will be allowed, but if it's consistent the cameras will catch it and you will be thrown out of the casino. (It's not illegal, but the casino has the right to kick you out for it)

When I was thinking about it, I was thinking about an hour, they had to do some quick math and I probably would have went with about 45 minutes, but I have a timeframe to put it on. I put on the feeds when I got home from work and it was over shortly after that. I get home about 10:15, but by the time I take the dog out and change clothes it was probably 10:30. Remember, they have no time concept to base it on

I think I had 12 minutes in my head from our earlier conversation about the endurance comp that lasted 12 minutes (I believe it was dizzyland we were talking about). But I still find it hard to believe that Steve would be that far off on the timing being the weird way he has of gathering and keeping information. I get they don't have the concept of time we do, but I could honestly see him going into the house right after the comp and checking the time to make a mental note of the time it took estimating the start time to be toward the end of the episode. So, if he forgot the 0 in his answer it would have been 100 minutes and if he was just blowing smoke, he was guessing around 10 minutes. I just find it very weird that he was that far off. I wonder now if he actually wanted Jmac to win that HOH so if he wins veto he would have the voting power? Stranger things have happened this season that is for sure.
