Kansas City at Indianapolis 4:35 PM

Kansas City started out the season hotter than anyone, 9-0 on their way to an 11-5 finish, including a 23-7 loss to the Colts just 2 weeks ago.  Their only win against a team above .500 was the Eagle way back in week 3.  Andrew Luck has been in a bit of a slump lately, if you could call it that, finishing the lst 4 games of the season throwing less than 300 yds per game. Pick: Colts

New Orleans at Philadelphia 8:10 PM

I'm really looking forward to this game.  There was no doubt that the Saints would be right back in the playoffs after putting Bountygate behind them.  Despite having a better record than Philly, they are on the road in the playoffs after Phlly had a hard fought final game win against division foe Dallas for the embattle NFC East title.  Eagles QB Nick Foles has been unbelievable since taking over at the QB position, but look for Drew Brees and Sean Peyton to knock the "chip" out of arrogant Head Coach Chip Kelly and the Eagle.  Pick: Saints

San Diego at Cincinnati 1:05 PM

San Diego can thank being in the playoffs to 2 things.  Chiefs kicker Ryan Succop and the officials in that game.  If not for those two things, we would be watching the Steelers and Bengals (Sorry capri, but I can honestly say I like it better this way!   NaNaNaNa )They did not play with much intensity in a must win game against the Chiefs second stringers while the Bengals easily handled the defending SuperBowl Ravens.  Pick: Bengals

San Francisco at Green Bay 4:40 PM

This should be another great game.  Aaron Rodgers came back with a vengeance and with the season on the line threw a TD pass to Reggie Cobb in a fierce NFC North battle with Da Bears to claim the division and sneak into the playoffs.  The Niners on the other hand finish as the wildcard despite an impressive 12-4 record.  But in the playoffs, the records start at 0-0.  Chalk this one up to a discount dabble check!  Pick:Niners
I edited this pick for one reason, I realized that Phil Dawson plays for the Niners, it's the Cleveland Curse, a player leaves Cleveland and goes on to win the Super Bowl. I root for it as well, Phil is a great guy and one of the best players I ever had the pleasure of meeting

Remember what I said weeks ago about smoke and mirrors? Chiefs are not as good as people make them to be. What a game though!

The Chiefs fan in this house says, and I quote..."it would have helped if all of their best players did not get hurt."

You know how much you love your Browns? He feels the same way about the Chiefs.....he was actually excited for the first time in years......poor guy!

It was a good game though. Very exciting.
