| Has anyone read the books?
I am about to here when I get the chance to get to the library. I was just wondering if it is a good read or is the show better then the books? I ask because most of the time the book is way better then the movie. _______________________________________________________________________________________ |

| In my opinion the books are better just because there is more detail and each chapter is written from a different character point of view so you get more insight into their thought processes and if you pay attention there are lots of great clues and hints like who Jon's mother is etc. Buut the show has done quite a remarkable job of staying true to the books. You will love them. |

Yeah I have it saved on tivo and have lost count as to how many times I have watched it. In the book it says something like "for the first time in many years the songs of dragons fills the air" I just love that line and cant wait to see them get bigger. |

Yeah I have tried to get my friends to watch and they don't have time or they don't like this genre blah blah blah I keep saying this is epic and you will be sorry later that you missed out but I have given up cuz I am just a nag at this point. I got my brother hooked by telling him there were lots of naked chicks though |

| Now that you have read the books or parts how do you feel about the sigils? I really liked seeing the direwolf sigil on Bran but mentioned elsewhere nd the response was ah no big deal. I know they aren't huge in the scheme of things but when reading the books I imagined exactly what we saw on Bran a clear direwolf at the neck or even chest and certainly the Lannisters would want lions to be prominent. We certainly didn't get it season one and I like seeing it. |
