What does everyone think? This is still one of my favorite shows, but I'm pissed that Stabler is gone. I'm shocked that NBC didn't do everything they could to keep Christopher Meloni on the show. My understanding is that they just couldn't come to an agreement on a new contract. How sad and disappointing. Rumor has it, that Mariska (Benson) is signed through this season and is signed on for a few episodes next season. There's talk about her getting promoted and either leaving the show or just being in a different role. Why does NBC always tank it's best shows? Don't get me wrong, I like the new additions, they make it interesting, but they're not Benson and Stabler. Kelli Giddish is awesome and she'll be a great addition. It's too bad her show Chase didn't last because it was a really good show. I was a fan of Cold Case, so I like Danny Pino too. I'm sure they'll both be great. I just don't know how much I'm going to like it without Benson and Stabler. They should've resigned Meloni and put Kelli Giddish and Danny Pino on their own show as partners. Oh well, it is what it is. Does anyone else watch this?

I used to watch it all the time but I haven't seen this new season yet.
I don't know what I think about Stabler being gone and I heard eventually Benson will be too. They had such an amazing show why ruin a good thing, it just won't be the same without those two together.
I'll have to start watching the new season though and I'll let you know what I think afterwards

I watched a couple episodes and I have to admit I like it as much as I always did. I miss Stabler but the show still has it's appeal and Amaro and Rollins are doing great! I love their characters. But if Benson leaves I'm not too sure if i will continue to watch. I guess we'll have to wait and see.

I am iffy about this show. Not because of the new cast members, but because it sometimes is just too dark for me. I just don't like hurting kids which is why I'm not a big Stephen King fan, and this show is full of that. I agree that I liked the "old" cast, even with the DA's changing every other show! I followed Muntz from Homicide (another favorite of mine) and Richard Beltzer is terrific - who knew a stand-up comedian could play such a quirky character? Love Kelli and Danny - loved both of their shows. Wish Chase had stayed on, it was good - but obviously the network wouldn't stand by it because sometimes it was on, sometimes not. Cold Case was also iffy for me, but I loved Danny's character. It had the best theme music ever!!
