| I have been a big fan of CSI (the original) since it began. Grissom was and still is my fav character. I tried to like Langston, but just couldn't. Although I like Lawrence Fishburne in other things, maybe coming so soon after William Peterson was a let down for me. Never really cared for Ted Danson, but I find him refreshing in this role. I hate that Marg Helgenberger is leaving!!! And I'd like to see more cameos between Sara and Grissom! I miss him!!!!! But, so far, I'm enjoying this season a lot. |

I agree with almost everything you said, but I did like Langston. I was upset when Grissom left & wasn't too happy about him being replaced. However, Langston didn't really replace him & came in as a newbie, so I was able to accept his character more easily. As for Ted Danson, not my favorite & I could take him or leave him, but I agree he's great in this role....a combination of quirky & soft heartedness. |

| As a long time fan I am having a hard time adjusting to Ted Danson. So sad Marge is leaving. What's next, Stokes? |

| There is one thing that is bothering me about this weeks episode.
The daughter, Samantha, did anyone notice in the shot where they showed her beigng dropped off at the police station how she looked right into the camera? I was thinking that she wasn't a good actress to begin with and then when she looked into the camera I disliked her even more. Maybe it's just me.
Other thna that, I thought it was a pretty good episode. |

No ctown, it's not you. I am not a fan of her either, but I did like the episode. Still adjusting to Ted Danson, however. |

| I reallly don't like the direction the show seems to be takin with Brass. First they hae him "cover up" the situation with Langston and Haskell and now he is saying a new murder victim got what she deserved becasue a case couldn't be formed against her. In the cop show world, he is turning into a rogue cop. I almost expected him to be involved in the crime this past episode |

| ctown - I SO agree with you! Brass has been such a constant - the good cop, even with his own daughter. I definitely don't like that he is being shown as a "bad" cop this season! I am really beginning to like the family interaction of Ted Danson's character. I read that Elizabeth Shue will be joining the cast when Marg H. leaves. Her character supposedly has a not so good work history with Dansons' character. We'll see. |

I know sunshine, I hope they don't turn Brass into Vic Mackey from "The Shield." Elizabeth Shue would be a great addition to the show, thanks for that info. I am still getting used to Ted Danson, but he is growing on me! |

| How many of you caught last nights episode with the power outage?
There is a huge problem with this scenario, they kept showing the Vegas Strip in complete darkness, this would never happen, the casinos all have generators to keep everything running in the event of a power outage and they kick in immediately. In teh history of the Las Vegas Strip, the only time the lights were out was done intentionally. They shut them down for 1 minute as a tribute to Frank Sinatra when he died. I remember it because I was there when it happened. I know, not a big deal in the context of the show or even the plot there, just a little something I noticed. |

Lol, I thought the same thing, how could that happen?
Wow, I did not know that was the only time the lights went out on the Vegas strip---that must have been kind of freaky to witness. |
