Another season of people who either know nothing about running a successful restaurant - or who think they know more than Gordon Ramsey about it! The opener was funny and sad at the same time! Mama Mary had the right ideas, but daughter Shelly wasn't having it. And the Gen Mgr/fiance was a blithering idiot! To say that GR placed a dead mouse at the entrance just for the purpose of adding to the show's drama could have been one of the funniest albeit most insulting things ever to have happened on this show! What do y'all think?

I was VERY PISSED OFF with that owner yesterday - she had NO CLASS! I felt so sorry for her Mother, who was such a SWEETHEART and soooooo thankful for everything that Ramsey did for their restaurant - I hated the way her daughter treated her - and the way she spoke to her. You could tell that the Mother was so embarrassed by her daughter's ungrateful attitude.

What I don't understand is how these people think their food is SO terrific, if it was your restaurant would be busy!!!!!!

Ok so here is my list of what I thought about the season premiere:

1) the daughter is completely delusional and outright rude and arrogant
2) the mother is the saving grace and a kind women, who I felt bad for, you could tell she was embarassed by her daughter's actions.
3) how could the daughter and fiancee think Chef Ramsey planted the mouse!!! What a bunch of morons, yes Chef Ramsey would stoop that low to plant a freaking mouse, he doesn't need to do anything to get ratings because people like him already and love his shows
4) I loved how the mother's pie was delicious and I can't believe Chef Ramsey ate those intestines, I would have gotten sick before and not after
5) I doubt this place will stay open for much longer, I won't be surprised when they revisit it, if its closed.
6) The only reason why that place is still open is because of the staff and their dedication.

I haven't watched these yet, guess I need to get off the boards and go take a look...lol

Are these airing on Fox or BBC America?.....I can't find them on Fox for some reason....

ct - DVR's rock! Especially for avid fans. You won't believe how you ever got along without one! My fav option is pausing a live show to get snacks, have a pit stop, smoke break, whatever! You will LOVE it!

Can't do without those darn DVR's! Especially since the hubby and I are ALWAYS having to pause the shows to comment every other minute - then we have to pause to get some snacks - then it's a potty break - next comes a pause to watch the pooches playing, can't miss that, it's a comedy break! and of course, a show might be on and we can't watch it cuz we get a phone call (especially work), so we tape it - oh, and those horrible commercials - gotta run through those with a F/F - and then we can get back to watching the show

GET A DVR! It's a MUST!

Just watched last week's episode (the one with the mouse) and couldn't stop laughing how ridiculous some people can be. They make it so easy for you wanting them to fail completely. But then have people that work for them that you hope get a break.
