| I only seen one audition so far, I'm waiting to watch the whole episode with my boyfriend It was the single mom with two kids who's ex boyfriend used to verbally abuse her, said that she was too old and not any good?! I was soooo happy when I heard her voice, she was amazing and got a standing ovation.......it showed him....hahaha |

| There were several good auditions, but two that really stuck out. Here are the links for those two. I hope they work!

P.S.- If the links don't work, just go to youtube and search Stacy Francis and Chris Rene |

| Tonight was awful for the first 45 minutes and then got better. The best of the night was a girl by the name of Melanie Amaro. She should do really well in this competition. Overall i hate most of the auditions tho. Did like the woman that sang Natural Woman last night quite alot and the very first contestant was an eighth grader who you had to love. However i really dont even like Idol until the auditions are over and you see the truly talented performers. |

I also thought the 'boy band' from the first nite auditions was really good.

I liked those 3 guys too - and I thought they were a lot better than some "boy band" - they were a class act! |

| I believe the name of that band was The Answer. Melanie Amaro was absolutely amazing last night! |

| I have to say I like the show. I wasn't going to watch it but since it was a section here I thought I'd check it out. It's a must to tape it on TIVO though for me. Just as in AI I don't care about the host, judges or backstories or crappy auditions so I have to be able to fast forward. But to see when someone is just a fabulous singer is great to watch. Specially when AI only lets in young people. So far most of my favorites would have had no other chance to showcase their awesome talents. |
